AnkiHub deck Updates not showing up after changing username

Hi there. I am the owner of a deck on Ankihub & I post updates ~every month. Recently, I changed my username to a nickname to remove having my name online. After I did that, the ā€œupdatesā€ section on Ankihub says that I haven’t posted any updates yet. Shortly after this change, I posted a new update, thinking that it would then show up, but it still shows that there have not been any updates.

Does anyone know of any fixes for this issue? Thank you for your help.

@abdo.nh this is similar to what happened when we changed the AnKing step deck deck name correct?

Do we need to make a Jira ticket for this?

I should have specified that the deck is Dr Chil and Machineberg’s PM&R Master Deck V2 (Sign In). Also, I owned another deck last year & changed the name of that deck, & the same thing happened with the updates. I have since deleted that deck, but just wanted to bring that up as well.

Hi all. Just wanted to follow up on this. I just posted another update, but it doesn’t share to the AnkiHub page so this hasn’t been resolved yet.

Yes, we’ve not worked on a fix it. The team was discussing general username issues last week and I raised this issue to them, so hopefully it’ll be looked into soon.

Hi again. Just following up on this. I tried posting another update & it does not appear on my deck’s home screen. Frankly, I am very disappointed. I used to share updates monthly, but now I have not been able to post an update to my 600+ deck subscribers in a year. I have brought this issue up here several times & it’s beginning to feel like it’s being ignored. Please… What can we do to fix this issue?

Can you try sending the update now and see if it works now? It should have been fixed :slight_smile:

On the deck’s home page, there is an Update in the section (which has not been there for the last year or so); however when I post a new update, it does not replace the older one.

This issue is because this tag was missing, which we’ve added for you manually.

This tag gets added when you click on ā€œPublish New Updateā€

Amazing! Thank you all so much! This seems to have fixed it. The update is now showing up on the home page & I am already getting engagement with some of the updates that I had not had in a long time.
