๐Ÿ› AnkiHub Sync Bug - Steps to resolve the issue

We have received reports of a bug that occurs when users are syncing with AnkiHub :bug:

:rotating_light: If you are experiencing this, please update your AnkiHub add-on to resolve this issue. :rotating_light:

  1. Open Anki
  2. Go to tools in the top left
  3. Click add-ons
  4. Click on AnkiHub
  5. Click โ€œCheck for Updatesโ€

If your issue is still not fixed after updating the AnkiHub add-on, make sure you are on the latest version of Anki. You can update from this link

Hi,

I was wondering if I could cancel my anki hub membership. Will I still be able to keep the current deck?

My apologies, I should have checked for updates before posting. Updating did resolve my issues! Thank you!

You shouldnt but youโ€™ll miss out on any new images/updates. Itโ€™s only a few dollars. Youโ€™re going to miss out on the several hundred updates that get synced each day/week.

If you cancel your subscription, you will keep the deck but you wonโ€™t recieve any new updates

This appears to be an unrelated issue in the AnkiConnect add-on.



Hello. Iโ€™m having trouble since I downloaded the application in windows and now Iโ€™m facing the same issues in the iPhone. Anking step came only with 1 flash card and the others donโ€™t show any image.

Regarding the missing images, you must fully sync on computer first. This can take multiple hours.

After that, you can sync with your phone. If you click sync on your phone Anki app, it will stay media is installing, and this can take several hours to complete. Then you will be able to see all the images

Regarding only 1 card showing up, this is because you must unsuspend cards first so they are available to do and review.

I alrealdy sync in my computer and keep syncronizing everytime I log in. Itยดs beem like 10 days and no image showed up since day one.

What about the AnKing step deck? The image above is not the step deck, it appears to be another deck so you might need to download a separate a media folder to get those images. Since we do not maintain that deck, you will have o contact the owner regarding further instructions.

Once you get the media folder, you can import it on your computer, then sync, then it will show up on your phone

This didnโ€™t work for me. There were no updates available.
