Hi Woocheol,

This difference in numbers is actually normal Anki behavior! Let me explain what’s happening:

When you see 87 cards in the deck browser, that’s showing you the total number of cards in that deck. However, when you start studying, Anki follows your daily limits settings to determine how many cards to show you.

In the study overview screen, Anki displays three numbers that represent:

  • New cards (blue)
  • Learning cards (orange)
  • Review cards (green)

The 47 cards you’re seeing are likely the cards that are due today based on your deck options settings. This typically includes:

  • Your “New cards/day” limit (set in deck options)
  • Any cards that are in learning
  • Any review cards that are due today

This is standard Anki behavior and works the same way with AnKing decks and AnkiHub. The remaining cards will become available on future days as you progress through the material.

If you want to study more cards per day, you can:

  1. Increase your “New cards/day” limit in the deck options
  2. Check if your review limit is restricting new cards (there’s a setting called “New cards ignore review limit”)

Does that help explain what you’re seeing? Let me know if you have any other questions!
