Every few weeks I notice that one or two cards from my Anking deck have somehow spontaneously changed decks into one of my homemade decks. The cards end up in different subdecks each time (it seems random and never fits the topic of the newly assigned deck), and I know for sure that they are anking overhaul cards because they include extras like sketchy screenshots that I do not include in my homemade cards.
I’ve double checked which deck updates should sync to, and it is the Anking deck on my Anki account and not any of my homemade decks. I would never intentionally move a card out of the Anking deck.
Best I can figure is this is a bug? It can even happen in a matter of minutes between closing and reopening the app on my computer. My account will sync and suddenly an Anking card appears in my homemade card deck. Sometimes I won’t notice for a while because the card isn’t due yet. The card will even keep the original scheduling, it just hops into a new deck.
