Anking Note Types - Cloze one by one options bug

The cloze one by one has those 3 options

  1. Always enable one by one
  2. Selective one by one
  3. Minimum number required for one by one

The option 3 is buging the flip automatically option.

I noticed that when you use option 2 (with the corresponding cloze number at the correct 1b1 field) it functions correctly, but when you use option 2 and option 1 together, lets say minimum clozes of 1, it stops flipping the card automatically.

The same happens using option 1 to use all cards as 1b1 and selects a number higher than 0 at option 3

Finally this happens without any of other options toggled, so I believe that when you increase the numbers of the minimum number of clozes for 1b1 it stops the flicking function.

Chatgpt believes that the problem is on the front side of the template on line 242:

var numClozesForNumber = (minNumberOfClozes) ? document.querySelectorAll('.clozefield .cloze').length : 0

clozefield only exists on the back of the card so this count is always 0, removing this class solved my problem but don’t know if it causes other bugs

var numClozesForNumber = (minNumberOfClozes) ? document.querySelectorAll('.cloze').length : 0

PS: How can I make this change permanent on my anki so it doesn’t get lost on updates?
