Anking sync and how to protect the cards and pictures I added?

hey guys! thank you for the previous answers, I am still pretty new and want to navigate
I want to keep the local cards the same amount with anki hub cause it’s already overwhelming .
The deck has 35006 cards and 28601 notes. from another student

The manager told me : "Go to browse in your Anki → at the top click on ankihub addon tab → press reset all local changes

This will restore everything to what AnkiHub has unless you have specifically protected those fields"

But after deleting my deck and resync a couple times, I ended with 35047 cards 28634 Notes .
I did added one new card, and how to protect the new card I added there? it is better just add my own card to a new local deck?

I also have a question on how to prioritize the new cards I unsuspended, I want to learn those first , than the previous cards from previous topics I don’t get to finish.

Thanks!

Things not to ask about here:

Please include supporting information and documents such as screenshots, recordings, complete error messages, etc.

You can go ahead and add new cards as you want, ankihub will not touch the cards you add.

To prioritise what cards you see first, go into deck setting and click on deck options, scroll down to display order and choose whatever order you want for the deck.

I don’t quite get what you are asking about the number of cards, if you’re asking why they are more than your friend, that maybe because you still have dupes in your deck, to get rid of them go to browser > AnKingV12::Step_1::!delete and delete those cards.

Hi ! Thank you so much for the response! Really appreciate it

So when I go to deck settings the 2 options are
Sequential or Random,
Is there a way to set the newly-unsuspended cards to be on the top of the list?

This is the new cards section, you choose “sequential” here.
Scroll down and you will see “reviews” section > select new cards before reviews there.
