Can you confirm you have done the following?

Yes, the sync button is red. I cannot sync it says Ankihub has cancelled the sync.
Originally, I had followed the steps and it worked. However, the deck only had 150 cards. I deleted the deck and accidentally pressed yes which I guess does not allow me to get the cards again. I deleted my anki account because I did not know how to reverse that setting, made a new anki account with the same email. Then followed all the steps again but cannot sync because the button is red and ankihub cancels it. How many cards am I supposed to be seeing? And how to get sync to work properly? Did it work the first time? I didn’t think it did because there was only 150 cards.

Yep. First thing to note:
This symbol means that it’s still syncing. Likely the cards are present but until it’s done the media may not display entirely appropriately.
If you go to the browser and click on this tag:
Can you tell me how many cards it lists as being present?
That means all the cards are preset.
How many cards it gives you at a time is determined by your settings. You can choose whatever value you want (150 might be quite a lot, but it’s up to you).
