Unable to sync deck through anki hub add on

What I am doing is:
Anki hub add-on → sync: This is the message I am receiving: The local collection has no cards. Download from AnkiWeb?

Can you confirm you have done the following?

  1. You have downloaded the ankihub addon and signed in

  2. You have subscribed to the deck you want

  3. You have clicked sync in Anki and clicked install

  4. You clicked upload to ankiweb if prompted in Anki
    ​
    if you have done all those things, can you retry resetting local changes

Go to browse in your Anki → at the top click on the ankihub addon tab → press reset all local changes

Then when you press sync, click upload to ankiweb. See if that fixes your issue

Hello, im trying to figure out Anki on my Mac thats old, its iOS 10.11.16, i could only download the version of Anki 2.1.35… but the code i put into addons for the Anking deck says theres an error. Is there anything i can do?

Unfortunately you will need a newer version of Anki, if it says the add-on cannot be added because of the Anki version then AnkiHub won’t work
