Cannot sync with Ankihub

I subscribed to multiple decks on Ankihub but cannot sync my anki with ankihub. I tried unsubscribe, resubscribe, remove add-ons, reset, etc., but I keep getting the message that there’s no new update and none of my subscribed decks show up in my anki. My anking v11 is also not updated to v12. Can someone please take a look and help me out?

Can you take a picture of the error message you get when you try to subscribe?

Did you login to the ankihub addon on anki as well?

Here’s the message I get on the bottom left after I hit “sync with ankihub”


This means you have already installed and synced the decks.

Did you have v11 before?

Can you go to browse → on the left hand side do you see AK_Step1_V12?

If not, try this:

Please try resetting your local changes. To do this:

Go to browse in your Anki → at the top click on ankihub addon tab → press reset all local changes

This will restore everything to what AnkiHub has unless you have specifically protected those fields

Did you try clicking on the main anki sync button? Not the one under the ankihub addon

The button on the right, correct? If so I did, and it tells me “collection sync complete” and still nothing.

Hello, I just want to follow up on this

Its odd since you have some V12 tags such as !AK_UpdateTags and AnkiHub_ImageReady.

Can you go to AnkiHub addon → deck management → unsubscribe from AnKing Overhaul → go to the ankihub website → subscribe again → click the main anki sync button?

Still does not work :frowning: It’s ok I will just keep using my v11 and create a separate profile for the v12

Can you please help me too? I have subscribed to a deck but it is not showing up. I have tried to unsubscribe and subscribe again but it didn’t’t work. I just tried to do the add-on reset that you mentioned but I don’t understand it. I went on “tools” on the top of the MacBook options then I chose “add-ons” but it shows me this, so there is not “reset add-ons” options as you suggested.
