Unfortunately, we can’t use your friend’s tags as a reference because I don’t have enough context about their Anki collection. I don’t know if they have an active account or if their collection is up to date with AnkiHub. In fact, the tags in your screenshot don’t match mine, which are current. The screenshots of your tags seem to indicate they are only partially updated, which would explain why they look disorganized.
Please follow these steps carefully to resolve the issue. Even if you’ve done some of these before, please try them again to ensure we cover all bases:
- Make sure you have an active AnkiHub account.
- Please ensure you are on the latest version of Anki. You can download it here: https://apps.ankiweb.net/. After downloading, simply run the downloaded file to update your application.
- On your Anki main screen, go to
Tools > Add-ons > Check for Updates. After the update is complete, please restart Anki. - Make sure you don’t have any protected AnKing tags here:
- Reset local changes using this tutorial: How to Reset Local Changes
- Delete the cards under the
AnkiHub_Deletedtag. - Use the “Clear Unused Tags” tool.
If that doesn’t work, please choose a tag that appears twice under the #B&B tag and send a screenshot of each one so we can see what’s happening.
