Without a bit more context as to your friend’s collection it’s hard to say, though I do show that you currently have an inactive AnkiHub account and, thus, you won’t be currently able to access the deck and your tags are likely out of date compared to the updated Step deck
That would be my first inclination as to a likely explanation, in any event

I’ve only just recently suspended the subscription - unless the decks have updated in the last month or so, then I’ve been consistently updating and syncing with AnkiHub.
I can subscribe again to help with the troubleshooting – any other things that might be causing the discrepancy?
