Can't disable superscript/subscript after enabling it in web-based suggestion interface

When editing a note suggestion in the browser-based AnkiHub interface, I can enable superscript or subscript just fine by clicking their respective buttons, but I would expect that when I click those buttons a second time they would toggle off, but nothing happens.

I’ve had this issue as well. My temporary fix for it has been editing the HTML of the text to remove a super / sub script if I enable one by mistake
