I’m a contributor to my school’s anki deck, so there are certain tags that are on all of the cards I make. I was wondering if there was any way to have it set up so that certain tags are automatically filled in every time I open the New Card window to save a little time. Is this a thing that exists already?

Someone else may reply with another idea, but the only one I’m aware of was an older add-on that hasn’t been updated in a few years.
I will say that I use the Fastbar add-on which has an option to select a bunch of cards from the browser and you can just copy-paste one, or a bunch, of tags all at once:
You can’t pre-populate them but it does let you add tags very quickly. That, or I just paste them to my to-do list and you can paste them into the ‘Add’ screen when you first open them and they should stay sticked from there.
