Yes, subdecks should work automatically in the initial deck upload (you don’t have to add the tags manually there as the add-on has an option to do that). If you add more new cards via suggestions later on, you have to make sure to tag the cards manually with the AnkiHub_Subdeck tag, otherwise, the cards won’t show in the correct subdeck.
