I just downloaded the Step1 Anking decks v12. Im looking to make subdecks of different topics so that its all not just one big blob. looking for your help with how do go about doing this

In order to create a deck, or subdeck, you can click on this button at the bottom of your main Anki screen:
After clicking ‘create deck’ you’ll want to name it.
From there, you just have to move whichever cards you want into that deck. Let’s assume, for the sake of example, that you want to move cards for the FirstAid Cardio tag into this new deck.
From the Browse screen in Anki you would navigate to the appropriate tag, in this case here:
Once there, you can hit command+A (or the equivalent on Windows) to select all of the cards associated with that tag.
Once you have them all selected, right-click, select ‘change deck’ and choose the deck into which you’d like to move the cards:
That’s it. 
In this way you can create decks, and/or subdecks, and move cards around however you’d like.
