Hi, my friends and I are trying to make our own deck/edit it on ankihiub. the deck is called Year 5 JCU. I have seen him invite me numerous times, putting in both the correct email and the username on seperate times, but I am not getting any email. This is the same for another friend we are trying to add.
Please help.
Thanks,
Luke

Hi Luke,
Sorry to hear you’re having trouble receiving maintainer invites for your “Year 5 JCU” deck. This is a common issue that can usually be resolved with a few troubleshooting steps:
First, check these things:
- Check your spam/junk folder - Invitation emails sometimes end up there
- Verify the email address is correct - Even small typos can prevent delivery
- Check your username is entered exactly as it appears in your AnkiHub account
If you still don’t receive the invitation:
- Try having your friend use the official tutorial for adding maintainers to make sure they’re following all the correct steps
- Make sure you’re looking for the invitation in the email associated with your AnkiHub account
Still having issues?
If after checking all the above you’re still not receiving invitations, I recommend contacting AnkiHub support directly at support@ankihub.net. In your email, include:
- Your AnkiHub username
- The email associated with your account
- The name of the deck (“Year 5 JCU”)
- Your friend’s username who is sending the invites
They should be able to help troubleshoot the specific issue with your account or the invitation process.
Hope this helps! Let us know if you have any other questions.
Hello,
Thank you for reaching out, I would be happy to help.
Assuming I have the correct deck, I show it as being public, rather than private, so I’m not sure that there needs to be an invitation in this case.
Just to make sure, can you try subscribing to the deck yourself and see if that does the trick?
Give that a shot, let me know how you fare, and we’ll go from there and hopefully we can get you squared away.
