Why This Happens

When AnkiHub doesn’t have a destination set for new cards (called a “home deck”), it creates a new deck automatically. This often results in duplicate decks appearing as you’ve noticed.

How to Fix It

1. Delete one of the duplicate decks

   • If both have the same cards, you can safely delete either one
   • If they have different numbers of cards, you may want to keep the one with more cards

2. Set a home deck for new cards

   • Open the AnkiHub menu from the main Anki window
   • Select “Subscribed Decks”
   • For each deck subscription, set a destination for new cards
   • This ensures new content will download to your specified deck rather than creating duplicates
