Welcome to AnkiHub, Afifa!

It looks like you quoted the support category description, but didn’t include your actual question yet. From the topic title, I’m assuming you want to know:

How do I align UWorld questions with the AnKing MCAT deck using AnkiHub?

Since I couldn’t find an existing step‑by‑step guide on the forum for this exact combo, here’s the general workflow people use to link UWorld questions with an Anki/AnKing deck (same idea applies to the AnKing MCAT deck on AnkiHub):

1. Make sure you’re using the correct AnKing MCAT deck

  1. Subscribe to the AnKing MCAT deck on AnkiHub.
  2. Sync the deck to your Anki via the AnkiHub add‑on.
  3. Confirm it’s fully downloaded and all media is in place.

2. Decide how you want to “align” UWorld with the deck

There are two main approaches:

A. Tagging existing AnKing MCAT cards by UWorld question

Use this if you want to:

  • Do a UWorld question
  • Then review the existing AnKing MCAT card(s) that cover that concept.

Typical workflow:

  1. Do a UWorld question block.
  2. For each question:
    • Identify the main concept (e.g. “Michaelis‑Menten enzyme kinetics”).
    • In Anki, search the AnKing MCAT deck using:
      • Keywords from the stem/explanation
      • Related tags (e.g. biochem::enzymes, etc., depending on how the deck is organized).
  3. When you find a good card that matches that question/concept, add a tag such as:
    • UWorld::MCAT::Block01::Q01
    • or simply uworld_q1234
  4. Repeat for each question in the block.

Later, you can:

  • Filter or custom study by tags like tag:UWorld::MCAT::* to review cards linked to UWorld practice.

B. Creating new cards for UWorld questions and keeping them in the same hierarchy

Use this if the AnKing MCAT deck doesn’t adequately cover the exact question or nuance.

  1. Still keep the main AnKing MCAT deck subscribed/synced via AnkiHub.
  2. Create a separate subdeck under it, for example:
    • AnKing MCAT::UWorld Add-ons
  3. When you finish a UWorld question:
    • Make a concise card focused on the takeaway.
    • Tag it with something like UWorld::MCAT::Block02::Q15.
  4. This way, your UWorld-derived cards live alongside the AnKing MCAT structure but remain clearly identified and separate (and they won’t sync back to AnkiHub, which is good—AnkiHub decks should not be used to share UWorld content).

3. AnkiHub‑specific notes

  • Don’t upload or share UWorld text, screenshots, or questions to AnkiHub (that violates UWorld’s terms of service).
  • It’s fine to:
    • Add private tags referencing UWorld (e.g. uworld_biochem_set3).
    • Create cards based on the ideas or concepts you learned as long as you don’t copy the question verbatim.

4. To help you better

Can you clarify a bit what you’re aiming for?

  • Do you want:
    A. To know which AnKing MCAT cards to review for a given UWorld question set?
    B. A system to track which UWorld questions you’ve seen via tags in Anki?
    C. Something else (for example, a pre‑made UWorld → AnKing MCAT mapping)?

Reply with:

  • How you’re currently using UWorld (blocks per day, timed/tutor, etc.)
  • Whether you’ve already subscribed to the AnKing MCAT deck on AnkiHub
  • Whether you prefer minimal tagging work or are okay with a more detailed tagging system

I can then outline a very concrete, step‑by‑step tagging or workflow template tailored to you.

Hello,

I would be happy to help.

Most folks use the UWorld QID add-on that is available over at this site: https://www.theanking.com/

This allows you to search for, and bring up, cards that relate to the UWorld questions that you’ve recently done

Please let me know if that answers your question, and if there’s anything else I can help with.
