Welcome to AnkiHub, Afifa!
It looks like you quoted the support category description, but didnât include your actual question yet. From the topic title, Iâm assuming you want to know:
How do I align UWorld questions with the AnKing MCAT deck using AnkiHub?
Since I couldnât find an existing stepâbyâstep guide on the forum for this exact combo, hereâs the general workflow people use to link UWorld questions with an Anki/AnKing deck (same idea applies to the AnKing MCAT deck on AnkiHub):
1. Make sure youâre using the correct AnKing MCAT deck
Subscribe to the AnKing MCAT deck on AnkiHub.
Sync the deck to your Anki via the AnkiHub addâon.
Confirm itâs fully downloaded and all media is in place.
2. Decide how you want to âalignâ UWorld with the deck
There are two main approaches:
A. Tagging existing AnKing MCAT cards by UWorld question
Use this if you want to:
Do a UWorld question
Then review the existing AnKing MCAT card(s) that cover that concept.
Typical workflow:
Do a UWorld question block.
For each question:
Identify the main concept (e.g. âMichaelisâMenten enzyme kineticsâ).
In Anki, search the AnKing MCAT deck using:
Keywords from the stem/explanation
Related tags (e.g. biochem::enzymes, etc., depending on how the deck is organized).
When you find a good card that matches that question/concept, add a tag such as:
UWorld::MCAT::Block01::Q01
or simply uworld_q1234
Repeat for each question in the block.
Later, you can:
Filter or custom study by tags like tag:UWorld::MCAT::* to review cards linked to UWorld practice.
B. Creating new cards for UWorld questions and keeping them in the same hierarchy
Use this if the AnKing MCAT deck doesnât adequately cover the exact question or nuance.
Still keep the main AnKing MCAT deck subscribed/synced via AnkiHub.
Create a separate subdeck under it, for example:
AnKing MCAT::UWorld Add-ons
When you finish a UWorld question:
Make a concise card focused on the takeaway.
Tag it with something like UWorld::MCAT::Block02::Q15.
This way, your UWorld-derived cards live alongside the AnKing MCAT structure but remain clearly identified and separate (and they wonât sync back to AnkiHub, which is goodâAnkiHub decks should not be used to share UWorld content).
3. AnkiHubâspecific notes
Donât upload or share UWorld text, screenshots, or questions to AnkiHub (that violates UWorldâs terms of service).
Create cards based on the ideas or concepts you learned as long as you donât copy the question verbatim.
4. To help you better
Can you clarify a bit what youâre aiming for?
Do you want:
A. To know which AnKing MCAT cards to review for a given UWorld question set?
B. A system to track which UWorld questions youâve seen via tags in Anki?
C. Something else (for example, a preâmade UWorld â AnKing MCAT mapping)?
Reply with:
How youâre currently using UWorld (blocks per day, timed/tutor, etc.)
Whether youâve already subscribed to the AnKing MCAT deck on AnkiHub
Whether you prefer minimal tagging work or are okay with a more detailed tagging system
I can then outline a very concrete, stepâbyâstep tagging or workflow template tailored to you.
