It looks like you’ve pasted the description of the :person_raising_hand: Support category into your post rather than your actual question.

To help you get a UWorld filtered deck working with AnKing MCAT via AnkiHub, could you clarify:

  1. Which of these you’re trying to do:
    • Create a filtered deck from your own UWorld notes that are already in AnKing MCAT
    • Use a pre‑made UWorld → AnKing MCAT deck or tag‑mapping someone else made
  2. Which platform you’re on:
    • Anki desktop (Windows/Mac/Linux)
    • AnkiDroid
    • AnkiMobile
  3. Whether you’re already subscribed to the AnKing MCAT deck on AnkiHub and have it synced correctly.

In the meantime, here’s the general workflow most users follow for UWorld + AnKing (this applies to MCAT as well as med decks):

1. Tag or mark your UWorld‑related cards

Usually you’ll either:

  • Add a tag like uworld_mcat (or more specific ones like uworld_bio, uworld_cars, etc.) to cards you want in the filtered deck
    • In the Browser, select the cards → Right‑click → Add Tags…

or

  • Use a pre‑existing tag mapping (if the deck creator provides one). For that you’d need to:
    • Subscribe to the specific UWorld mapping deck on AnkiHub or download/import it from the AnKing resources
    • Then sync via AnkiHub so those tags show up locally

If you’re asking about a specific UWorld–AnKing MCAT mapping deck (e.g., “is there an official UWorld mapping for AnKing MCAT?”), that belongs in :open_book: AnkiHub Decks, and you’ll likely get links to any existing shared mapping there.

2. Create the filtered deck (on desktop Anki)

Once your cards are tagged:

  1. In Anki desktop, click Tools → Create Filtered Deck… (or Create from the deck list, then choose filtered).

  2. Under Search, use something like:

    deck:"AnKing MCAT" tag:uworld_mcat

Adjust the tag: to whatever tag you used.

  3. Set:

    • Limit: however many UWorld cards you want per session
    • Card types: usually Due and new for cramming, or just Review if you only want due cards
  4. Click Build.

You can rebuild this filtered deck whenever you want; it will pull in cards matching that search.

3. How AnkiHub fits in

  • AnkiHub is mainly ensuring that:
    • You have the latest version of AnKing MCAT
    • Any community tag fixes / field updates propagate to you
  • Creating filtered decks is still done inside Anki (not on AnkiHub), using the tags/fields that came from the AnkiHub‑synced deck.

Next step

Reply with:

  • Whether you’re looking for an existing UWorld–AnKing MCAT mapping deck, or just how to make your own UWorld filtered deck from AnKing MCAT
  • A screenshot of your Browser showing the tags you have for UWorld (if any)

Once I know that, I can give you exact search terms and clicks tailored to your setup, or point you to the right AnkiHub deck/topic if a mapping already exists.

i am unsure i pay for the premium and i want to do cards with my uworld review and cant figure it out

Hello,

I would be happy to help.

For the AnKing MCAT deck itself, it is available on AnkiHub.net:

From there, the deck itself is tagged by the UWorld textbooks as well as the UWorld question bank. If you can help me understand better which one you’re referring to I’d be happy to help with more specific information, though I can outline the basics below:

In order to follow along with the UWorld textbooks you can use the tags that are already present in the deck, which follow along with the UWorld textbooks chapter-by-chapter:

From there, if you’re wanting to make a custom-filtered deck it would be the same for these tags as for any others, and this tutorial can walk you through how to do that: How to Build a Custom-Filtered Deck

Lastly, if you’re wanting to unsuspend cards based on UWorld questions, rather than the textbooks, you’ll likely need an add-on in order to coordinate the UWorld tags, which are done by QID, with the cards in your deck. The only add-on I’m available that is reliable enough to depend on is available over at this site:

Hopefully that offers some useful info, though if I’ve left anything out or if you have any other questions please feel free to reach out and happy to be of help however we can. :mending_heart:

on the other site how do I get the add on?

At a glance from their website it appears that you can click ‘Add-ons’ from the top of the page:

Give that a shot, let me know how you fare, and we’ll go from there and hopefully we can get you squared away.

do you know if this works for the mcat anking deck or just the step deck?

Happy to report it works for both.
