Hi,
I’m currently in Step 1 dedicated and using the UWorld Filtered Decks add-on. I’m trying to figure out how to keep the UWorld cards in the filtered deck (e.g., UWorld - Missed) instead of having them return to the original AnKing deck after review.
I want the cards to stay in the filtered deck and continue following the FSRS algorithm without being reset or moved back. How can I set this up correctly?

I don’t believe that it is possible for cards to stay in a filtered deck, sort of by definition.
The way that filtered decks work is that cards are placed into those decks and then, upon review, they are returned to their home deck. Each day you have to ‘rebuild’ those decks in order to bring the cards back into the filtered deck, and then again upon review they return to their parent decks.
This basic paradigm is inherent to the way that filtered decks work. To the best of my knowledge there isn’t a way to sidesteps this.
You could, of course, use another deck, or subdeck, which would not have this issue. But filtered decks are just inherently this way. That’s just kind of the way they’re built, and designed, for better or worse

The Uworld filtered deck add on doesn’t show up with the option of “rebuild” so i am having a hard time figuring how to to do so without using the rebuild all function and all of the cards come at once. Thoughts on this? I’m not sure if I am being clear. But whenever I try to make a filtered deck it says those cards are already a part of a filtered deck.
It might be worth noting that, at least at first glance, none of the decks in the image you shared appear to be a filtered deck, just FYI.
For reference: ‘normal’ decks are in white font, and filtered decks are typically in a blue font, like so:
But, if you click on your filtered deck, wherever it is, there should be a few buttons at the bottom of the screen. One of them should be ‘rebuild’:

I just need some help actually creating the filtered deck within anking. I don’t mine having to rebuild I just cannot figure it out because it keeps saying the cards I want to add are already in a filtered deck.
From the sound of it, the cards you’re wanting to put into a filtered deck are already assigned to a different filtered deck. As with any kind of deck, a card can only be in one deck at a time (not multiple).
Thus, in order to place these cards into a new filtered deck you’d have to first locate and delete the old filtered deck. Then, you should be able to make a new one and place those cards where you like.
