Hello, I’m currently using AnKing and really like it.
I recently started using UWorld to practice application-based questions. For the questions I got wrong, I found the corresponding cards in the AnKing deck. However, I already organized my deck by Kaplan chapters.
I noticed that some of the UWorld-related Anki cards are both tagged and already included in my organized biology deck. If I move those cards from my organized bio deck into my new personal UWorld review deck, will I no longer see those cards when reviewing my original deck?

Moving a card to another deck will remove it from the original deck, but not from any tags or filtered decks.
A few key points for what you’re trying to do:
Each card only “lives” in one deck at a time.
If you change its deck (e.g., from your “Bio – Kaplan Ch X” deck to “UWorld Review”), it will no longer show up when you review the original Bio deck, because it’s no longer in that deck.
Tags are independent of decks.
The card will still keep:
AnKing tags
Any UWorld-related tags
Your Kaplan/chapter tags
But tags alone don’t control the default review deck—only which searches/filtered decks it can show up in.
If you want to review “UWorld-wrong” cards separately without removing them from your chapter decks, the usual approach is:
Leave the cards in your main chapter-organized deck.
Add a special tag like UWorld_wrong to those cards.
Create a filtered deck that searches for that tag (e.g., tag:UWorld_wrong), and review from that filtered deck.
This way:
The cards stay in your original Kaplan decks.
You can still have a dedicated UWorld review deck via a filtered deck.
Scheduling stays consistent, since it’s the same card.
If you tell me your current deck names and exactly how you’re tagging the UWorld questions, I can suggest an exact search/filter to use.
If your new personal UWorld review deck is not a subdeck of your organized bio deck, you will not see these cards when you are reviewing the original bio deck.
