I only use AnKing V12. I recently updated AnkiHub and the notetype. When I tried syncing the changes to AnkiWeb, I get this error message.
“Your collection file is too large to send to AnkiWeb. You can reduce its
size by removing any unwanted decks (optionally exporting them first), and
then using Check Database to shrink the file size down. (341639168 > 314572800)”
How do I resolve this? I don’t see how my deck is too big and don’t want to remove unwanted decks since I am trying to studying AnKing V12.

Here’s a screenshot of my deck. I only have AnKing V12 and no other decks (as of today that is 35,120 cards). I’ve been studying based off the “high-yield tags” so that is how my cards are set-up in subdecks.
When I use the check media function, I see a large number of files that are missing and a large number that are unused. Is this normal? It seems like the unused files could be part of my issue and I’d like to delete them (but am not really sure how to) and also don’t know how to get the missing files.
I’ve deleted all of the unused media and emptied the trash. The check media function now shows zero unused media files. I also used “check database” and see that the databased was rebuilt and reorganized, but I still cannot sync as I get the same error message that it is too large.
That is very odd, I’d advise you to post on the official Anki forums (since this is most likely to do with Ankiweb, rather than AnkiHub): https://forums.ankiweb.net/
I ended up exporting my deck and deleting it entirely. I then resynced with AnkiWeb (meaning I also deleted it off AnkiWeb as well). I then reimported the same deck, and it is now syncing properly. I have no idea why that ended up resolving my issue, but I am sharing this in case someone comes across this error in the future.
