How do I upload my school lectures into AnKi?

I bought the AnKing premium Bundle which says we can input school notes and lectures for the AI chat bot to incorporate into its feedback, but there are no instructions for how to upload lectures?

Thank you for reaching out! Our moderators have been notified and will assist you shortly. In the meantime, you can get an instant response from me simply by @ mentioning my username`. Alternatively, start a private conversation with me (see screenshot below). If you ask me a question, I will do my best to respond using only verified information found in the official AnkiHub docs and the Anki manual.

You can also find answers to common questions in our FAQ and Docs.

Hello,

Just click on the AnKing Step deck, then click on the chatbot icon.

After that, go to “Files” and upload your documents.

Once the files are uploaded, the chatbot will help you find relevant flashcards related to what you’re studying!

Oh that’s awesome thank you. How do i make sure this chatbot pulls answers from my in-house lecture material that I upload? I’ve tried asking it a couple questions derived from info from the in-house file I uploaded, but the chatbot’s only pulling from Anking flashcard info

For the above information, any lecture notes (PDF’s) that you upload, the AI features will find related cards for you from within the AnKing deck.

But the chatbot itself will only function and be able to respond to questions based on information already present in the AnKing deck; it isn’t able to ‘learn’ information from your lectures, unfortunately.

The chatbot really only ‘knows’ the material already in the AnKing deck, and so can’t base its answers off of material unique to your lecture notes (unless, of course, that information is also covered in the Step deck in which case it will respond appropriately).

Please let me know if that answers your question, and if there’s anything else I can help with.

That makes sense! It says the relevant cards are added to my study queue, but where do I find this study queue? I don’t see it as a standalone deck. Is it going to pop up after I’m done with all of my anking cards, in chronological order? If yes how do I transfer these cards into another separate deck for standalone studying?

The study queue isn’t a standalone deck, it’s just adding those cards to the existing queue that you have in whatever deck the cards are already in.

You can select ‘view cards in Browse’ and then select those cards, right-click, and select change deck:

Let me know if that does the trick for you, and/or if you have any other questions.
