I see you’re having an issue where your AnKing deck isn’t showing up in your Anki even though you’ve subscribed through AnkiHub and synced. Let me help you troubleshoot this common issue!
Why this happens
When you subscribe to an AnKing deck through AnkiHub, all cards are suspended by default. This means they won’t appear in your regular study queue even though they’ve been successfully downloaded.
How to fix this:
-
First, verify the deck is actually installed:
- Go to the Browse function in Anki
- On the left-hand side, click on Tags
- Look for tags like #AK_Step1_V12 (or the appropriate version for your deck)
-
If you can see the tags but no cards appear to study:
- This confirms the deck is installed, but all cards are suspended
- Select the tags for the specific content you want to study
- Click on a card
- Use Ctrl+A (or Cmd+A on Mac) to select all cards
- Right-click and select “Toggle Suspend”
- The cards will turn blue (unsuspended) and now appear in your study queue
-
If you don’t see any tags:
- Go to the AnkiHub add-on menu
- Click “Reset all local changes”
- This will restore everything from AnkiHub (unless you’ve protected specific fields)
-
Still not working?
- Double-check you’re actually subscribed to the deck on the AnkiHub website
- Make sure you’ve properly signed into the AnkiHub add-on
- After confirming subscription, sync again in Anki
