Hello so I have some cards in Anki that us Mathjax but their output comes out very sketchy for the AnKing MCAT deck. This usually involves equations, formula etc. I fix this error on my own my removing the math jax and adding the equation myself. I noticed that every so often when I sync my Anki to Ankiweb and thus Ankihub these changed cards get updated back to their original math jax state which I don’t want. Is it possible to take some cards out of the sync or make it so that when they’re synced their content isn’t changed? Because the other cards I want to change but these cards with the formulae, equations and reactions that use Mathjax I want to keep the changes I make to them.

Just out of curiosity can you show me a Mathjax that isn’t displaying correctly for you?
But, separate from that, you can protect a specific field for an individual note to protect edits that you make: Protect Field for Individual Note

This is what the usual output for a mathjax code looks like for me:
For example this question is asking to name what a specific equation is for.
The card has 2 clozes the 1st one is about what the equation is for and the other cloze is for equation itself. In cards where Mathjax cards are being used but aren’t specifically testing for that specific math jax code this is the output I get and I have to rewrite the card to fix it for myself.

I have a strong suspicion that the Mathjax here isn’t the root issue, and that you may have an add-on and/or setting that it otherwise causing some conflicts.
