Hi Phoebear! I see you’re having an issue with your AnkiHub setup where your ID appears to be pending, and you’re not seeing any content in tags despite having the AnkiHub crown visible.

This is likely related to your multiple Anki profile setup. From what I understand from your description, you have two separate profiles in Anki. This is important to note because Anki profiles don’t share add-on data between them.

What’s likely happening:

You may have logged into AnkiHub on one profile, but you’re currently using a different profile where you haven’t completed the login process. Each Anki profile needs its own separate AnkiHub login.

How to fix this:

  1. Make sure you’re in the profile where you want to use AnkiHub
  2. Click on the AnkiHub crown in the top bar
  3. If prompted, log in with your AnkiHub credentials
  4. If your ID says ā€œpending,ā€ try clicking on it to complete the verification process
  5. Once logged in, sync your Anki to download any subscribed content

Important note about Anki profiles:

According to Anki’s documentation, profiles are primarily intended for different people using the same computer. Using multiple profiles for yourself can sometimes cause syncing issues with add-ons like AnkiHub.

If you’re using separate profiles for organizational purposes, you might want to consider using tags or deck hierarchies within a single profile instead, as this would avoid the login issues you’re experiencing.

Still having trouble?

If you’ve tried logging in again and are still seeing the ā€œID Pendingā€ message, you can:

  • Email support directly at support@ankihub.net
  • Check that you’re using a compatible version of Anki (AnkiHub recommends version 24.04.1)

Let me know if this helps resolve your issue!
