Ideas/suggestions to filter cards by body system/subject while also keeping a separate set of cards for comprehensive review?

I’d like to filter tags/cards specific to the current body system I am learning about in class, but also keep a separate deck for comprehensive review. What are your suggestions for doing this?

Previously I have right clicked on cards to “Change Deck” and reassigning cards by body system but I’m not sure if that is the best method if I want to add them to a comprehensive deck/return them to the original Anking decks when I’m done with the semester.

“Custom Study” button and selecting tags relevant to my current body system I am studying might be the best solution so far?

I wasn’t able to find any other ideas to consider on the Ankiking Wiki and a few YouTube videos I watched suggested using an outdated filtered deck add-on that are no longer supported.

Custom studies sound the best for your use case. I use them daily and they’ve been great to segregate specific topics on what I want to study.
