iPhone Anki keeps asking me to login

Keeps asking me to login to ankihub, which I have on multiple browsers. Still refuses to sync. Updated to most recent version.

It sounds like there might be some confusion here. Let me clarify how AnkiHub, Anki, and AnkiWeb work together.

The process generally works like this:

  1. First, you log in to the AnkiHub add-on within the Anki app on your computer. This downloads the deck’s cards to your computer.
  2. Next, you sync your computer’s Anki app with your AnkiWeb account.
  3. Finally, you sync the Anki app on your iPhone with that same AnkiWeb account. This makes the cards available on your phone.

The AnkiWeb sync service is a separate service provided by the creators of Anki and is not part of AnkiHub. Therefore, the message you are seeing on your iPhone is likely from AnkiWeb, not from AnkiHub.

To ensure everything is set up correctly on the AnkiHub side, please make sure you have completed all of the following steps:

  1. Make sure you have an active membership: Sign In
  2. Install the AnkiHub add-on: Install Ankihub Addon (New User)
  3. Subscribe to and install a deck: Subscribe/Install Step Deck (New User)
  4. Start using the deck: How to Get Started Studying

Hey thanks for the prompt reply and trouble shooting!

I recognize that they’re separate services. I’ve been able to sync on my desktop to both anki and ankihub. The decks are able to sync appropriately.

It’s only when I shift to mobile (iOS) that I keep getting the error message to log into ankihub.

Please advise, thank you!

Thanks for the screenshot! As shown in the image, it’s asking you to log in to AnkiWeb, not AnkiHub.
