Hello there! I can see from your screenshot that you’re having trouble with syncing your Anki account. It looks like you’re getting an error message about confirming your email address with AnkiWeb.
Understanding the Issue
This is actually related to AnkiWeb (not AnkiHub). These are two different services:
- AnkiWeb: The official Anki syncing service that allows you to sync your cards across devices
- AnkiHub: An add-on and service for sharing and collaborating on decks
How to Fix This
To resolve this issue, you need to:
- Visit ankiweb.net
- Log in with the same email address shown in your error message
- You’ll likely need to confirm your email address by clicking a link sent to your email
This error happens when your AnkiWeb account needs email verification before you can sync your cards.
Getting Started with AnkiHub
If you’re also interested in using AnkiHub (which is a separate service), here’s how to get started:
- Create an AnkiHub account
- Purchase a membership if needed
- Install the AnkiHub add-on
- Log in to the add-on using your AnkiHub credentials
Let me know if you need any clarification or have other questions about Anki or AnkiHub!
Hi,
To get started, please create your AnkiWeb account here first: https://ankiweb.net/decks
Then, log in with this same account inside the Anki desktop app by clicking the “Sync” button.
After that, you can follow these steps to get set up with the AnKing deck:
- Make sure you have an active membership: Sign In
- Install the AnkiHub add-on: Install Ankihub Addon (New User)
- Subscribe to and install a deck: Subscribe/Install Step Deck (New User)
- Start using the deck: How to Get Started Studying
Let me know if you’re still experiencing any issues!
Please note: Your AnkiWeb and AnkiHub accounts are two different things, so they are created and managed separately.
