I recently purchased a membership to use the AnKing deck and when I went to sync on my Anki app, the app keeps telling me my credentials are wrong. I’ve cross-checked them thrice and even reset my password twice yet it does not let me sync.

This usually happens because Anki uses AnkiWeb credentials, while AnkiHub uses separate AnkiHub credentials.
To clarify:
- Anki sync button in the Anki app → requires an AnkiWeb account (from https://ankiweb.net), not your AnkiHub login.
- AnkiHub add-on inside Anki → uses your AnkiHub email/password (the one you used for the membership).
So if you’re seeing “credentials are wrong” when you press the sync (cloud) button in Anki:
- Make sure you have:
- An AnkiWeb account created at https://ankiweb.net (separate from AnkiHub).
- In Anki Desktop:
- Click Sync (top right).
- When asked for login, enter your AnkiWeb email + password.
- If unsure, try logging into https://ankiweb.net in your browser with those credentials to confirm they work.
- After Anki sync is working, open:
- Tools → Add-ons → AnkiHub → Configure / Log in (wording may vary),
- Log in there with your AnkiHub email/password (the one tied to your membership).
