The Step 1 high yield project is not fully completed yet - it’s currently about 85% complete according to the AnKing team. This tagging project was initiated to help identify which cards are high-yield for Step 1 study, especially after the Pass/Fail transition.

As explained by the AnKing team:

“High yield tags are determined by users who have gone through the material and asked the question ‘How much do I need this card to answer practice questions?’ Based on that question, they were segregated into High Yield and Low Yield (see below the 5 different levels). The project is only 85% complete so it’s not fully done yet.”

The high-yield classification includes 5 different levels:

  • Very High Yield
  • High Yield
  • Relatively High Yield
  • Low Yield
  • Very Low Yield

While the tagging is still in progress, you can definitely start using these tags as a guide for your studies. Just be aware that the project isn’t 100% complete, so some cards may not yet be properly tagged with their yield level.

Hello,

Those tags are 90% completed and a ton of users have used them with no issues. We recently finished suggesting the remaining 10%, they are being reviewed on AnkiHub and will take some time to finish reviewing them.
