I want to have one note type for both longer basic cards and their corresponding cloze cards for a better overview (as is the case in the cloze anything add-on/notetype). However, I also really enjoy using the Enhanced Cloze add-on. Is there a way to combine the two?

To be honest, that’s a tough one to answer.
Is it possible? Maybe. But, ‘Enhanced Cloze’ is a note type originally started by an add-on author in the Enhanced Cloze add-on. ‘Cloze anything’, similarly, originates from a separate add-on. Thus, they’re both made by independent creators.
If you’re very handy with CSS coding there might be a way to combine the two but that’s going to be well outside the purview of my knowledge or what I can probably help with. You might reach out on the official Anki forums (https://forums.ankiweb.net/) and perhaps there are some knowledgeable souls there, but otherwise I’m sorry to say that the scope of the question is beyond what we’re probably able to comfortably help with
