Khan Academy PS tags not aligning with Anking tags

I was beginning my study of PS, deciding to use the Khan academy videos instead of the Kaplan.

However I’m seeing some differences between the organization of both. One example is the Behavior → development tab, which has questions about Erikson’s stages of development, which in Khan is listed under Individuals and Society → Self identity.

Is there a document where I can find how each is organized? Or am I doing something incorrect?

Any help would be appreciated! Thank you

Hello,

I’d be happy to help.

Some of the original Khan Academy tagging pre-dates my time with the deck, though my understanding is that Khan Academy has, at a couple of points in time, reorganized how they arrange and categorize some of their videos. I’m not certain of precisely when those rearrangements took place but that is my understanding.

For this reason, there may be some discrepancies between the changes that Khan made to their organization and the tag hierarchies as they lie in the deck. For the most part such discrepancies should be few and far between, though. I used the deck myself to take the MCAT and I didn’t have many problems, and I don’t often see the issue raised by users, so it shouldn’t prove to be too much of an impediment.

If you notice any such discrepancies, you are welcome (and encouraged) to point them out and suggest a change to the tags to better reflect any adjustments in KA (or other sources) that have occurred over time. If it’s helpful this is a very quick little tutorial that walks you through the basics of how to suggest a change to AnkiHub, which can be used to suggest that specific tags be added, or removed, from a particular card or cards: How to Suggest a Change from the AnkiHub Web App

Hopefully that answers your question/s but please let me know if I’ve missed anything, if you have any other questions, or if there’s anything else with which I can help. Happy to be of service however I can.
