How to organize Psych/Soc to Kaplan on AnKING deck?

Hey all,

I just started studying for my MCAT a few days ago and have learned I’m very OCD when it comes to organizing all of my cards, which is why I was so happy to see that AnKING is divvy’d up by Kaplan chapter for each subject when organizing by tags, that is until I hit my 1st review day for psych/soc (today) it appears to be the only section that doesn’t follow Kaplan chapters, so I’m unsure how to structure my card review for them. obviously I can’t do all 2400 cards in one sitting so was just hoping for some advice. Thank you!

I was considering simply doing 60 cards/day as that would get me in line for finishing content review for when I’d finish everything else but it just seems a bit overwhelming…i dont want it to stretch into once i begin practice phase/taking FLs

Hello,

I would be happy to help.

Yeah, that is the case. Unfortunately, Kaplan is notoriously bad for P/S and so nearly everyone opts to not use it or follow it. Thus, the P/S section of the AnKing deck is modeled around the Pankow deck (which did not use Kaplan).

Most folks end up following Khan Academy, or UWorld, or similar, as a result. Those tags are all present in the deck as well and will likely be more useful for structuring your studies about the P/S section.

Please let me know if that answers your question, and if there’s anything else I can help with.
