Lag while typing

Hello,

I just updated to the latest version, and there has been a lot of lag while typing and adding cards to my decks. I have synced it, which took a few tries and crashed the app multiple times, and disabled my amboss add-on but it is still lagging.

Are you on macOS?

I have this problem when I update my Macbook to newer versions of Anki especially the M1 version. I found that installing the intel version fixes that, but this might not be applicable to you if you are not on Mac

Hello, yes I am on Mac OS and I just downloaded the intel version. It helped a little bit but there is still some lag while typing, any other suggestions? Thank you!
