Slow/glitchy to "show result" on cards

While answering my Anking MCAT deck, I’ve continuously ran into these 2 problems:

1. After clicking “show answer” the card is painfully slow to load. Sometimes the answer appears after a few seconds and sometimes (to speed up the slow wait) I mouse click on blank screen to show the result.

2. After clicking “show answer” the card will simply skip to the next without showing me the answer. This happens often.

these are the add-ons I have. Currently using a 2023 M2 MacBook Air, internet speed test: 77 download Mbps/ 81 upload Mbps

Does this happen even after you quit Anki and start it up again?

Can you try downloading an Intel version of Anki? I used to have this issue and going on an intel version (even tho I have a silicon mac) fixed it

I seemed to have fixed it by switching the video driver to “software”
