My learning cards are not graduating to review in my anking and other decks since the first time I downloading anking. I rarely hit the hard button, just again or good mostly. I need help figuring this out. I’ve already deleted the anki and reinstalled it, logged in and out and others thing you guys have suggest before in earlier topics and nothing has changed. I do anki daily consistently and cards rarely graduate to review even after completing deck for the day.
I don’t know why I cant upload any images, but my settings are
I see here that the card has reached as far as a 10 minute interval, but has not been reviewed beyond that. Have you reviewed the card today? Is it up for review?
Is it buried or suspended?
Can you show me your main Anki screen, with all decks and subdecks showing?
Also your deck settings?
yea I think maybe Indidnt do that one. Here is another card ive been doing consecutively a few days now. Its not from the anking but it has the same default settings so this might be a better example.
From what I see here I don’t know that I see anything odd, tbh.
For the card info you shared: I see that you got it up to a 1 day interval and then hit ‘again’ 3 times in a row. The last review was yesterday for an interval of 1 day and it shows that it should be due again today as a result.
This all looks pretty normal to my eyes. The card hasn’t graduated beyond these intervals because you’ve hit ‘again’ on almost 50% of your reviews. This is to be expected based on your settings.
It appears that everything is functioning normally and as intended
Okay, maybe the intervals changed or something because before I seemed to graduate the cards faster. What interval would you recommend so I don’t spend so much on hitting again on reviews? Thanks for the help.
Well, your ‘again’ interval is 1 minute. It can’t really get much lower than that. You could set it to 10 seconds or something, if you want, but there’s only so much lower it can go.
Similarly with 10 minutes. If 10 isn’t working, you might try going lower. How low is hard to give a firm recommendation for; might be something you’ll have to/want to tinker with a bit until you find a happy medium.
