Found 0 results for ‘tags:official missing cards AnKing Step Deck zolpidem category: Support order:latest_topic max_posts:10 status:open’
Most of the time this happens because the cards you see on AnkiHub either:
aren’t in your local deck yet, or
are in your collection but not in the deck/search you’re looking at (e.g., different deck, suspended, or different search field).
Here are the main things to check:
1. Confirm you’re subscribed and fully synced
In AnkiHub Web, open the AnKing Step Deck page and confirm:
You’re Subscribed (button should say Unsubscribe).
In Anki Desktop:
Go to Tools → Add-ons → AnkiHub → Config and confirm you’re logged into the correct AnkiHub account.
Then run AnkiHub → Force Full Sync (Download from AnkiHub) from the top menu.
Let it fully finish and then try searching again.
2. Make sure you’re searching all fields and the right deck
In the Browser:
At the top-left, click Whole Collection (not just the AnKing Step Deck) and search for zolpidem (no quotes).
If it appears there, but not when you limit to "Deck:AnKing Step Deck", then:
The note may be in a different deck → select it and use Ctrl/Cmd + D to move it into the Step Deck.
Double‑check your search:
Use simply: zolpidem
or deck:"AnKing Step Deck" zolpidem
Make sure you don’t have any extra filters like is:new, tag:..., etc.
3. Check if the cards are suspended, buried, or in a filtered deck
Still in the Browser:
Search: zolpidem with Whole Collection selected.
If you see the cards but they’re suspended (yellow pause icon):
Select them → press Ctrl/Cmd + J to unsuspend.
Also check you don’t have them in a filtered deck only:
In the Browser, add a column for Deck, and confirm the deck is actually the Step Deck and not a filtered deck.
4. Make sure you actually downloaded the Step Deck content
Sometimes users only have the main AnKing Overhaul deck or just part of the Step Deck.
On AnkiHub Web, open the AnKing Step Deck and click Notes → All Notes.
Compare the note count there with:
Anki → Browse → select the AnKing Step Deck on the left → look at the number in the top bar.
If your local count is ~3000 lower:
In Anki, run AnkiHub → Re‑Download All Notes (or Force Full Sync (Download) as above).
5. If nothing shows up anywhere
If a search for zolpidem in Whole Collection returns zero:
That specific note was likely never downloaded.
Please grab:
A screenshot of the note on AnkiHub showing zolpidem.
A screenshot of your Anki Browse window with Whole Collection selected and search zolpidem.
Then post those screenshots and your:
Anki version
AnkiHub add‑on version
OS (Windows/Mac/Linux)
and we can check whether those notes are correctly mapped to the Step Deck and why they’re not syncing down.
If you’d like, I can also give you an exact search string to verify all Step Deck cards you’re currently missing once you confirm how many notes Anki shows for the deck.
I can’t say much about your friend’s collections, as they could have older collections, or cards gathered from other sources, a dozen other things
But, you can always push a corroboration check of your local collection against the server copy by following this tutorial: Resetting Local Changes
That will make sure that you have all of the cards that you should have. Give that a shot, let me know how you fare, and we’ll go from there and hopefully we can get you squared away.
