New Deck Subscriptions

Hello,

Earlier this week I subscribed to several more decks on the AnkiHub website. However, I haven’t been able to get them to appear in my Anki app after syncing.

Recently I unsubscribed to the Bronze Tier level since I no longer need some of the beta add-ons that I was getting through that feature. But I still am subscribed for $5 dollars a month with AnkiHub so I should still be able to subscribe to new decks to continue my studies if I’m not mistaken?

Any ideas on what I can try next?

Jacob

Hello,

Yes correct, you should be able to subscribe to new decks.

When prompted, did you click upload to ankiweb or download from ankiweb?

I was fully expecting to see either of those choices to select from but neither upload to AnkiWeb nor download were options when I synced. I know I have to select the download from AnkiWeb so that they appear in my Anki application but yeah it hasn’t given me that option thus far.

So this sounds like an easy fix. I just have to get that option to present itself. Perhaps if I logged into the AnkiWeb through a browser I could get that to appear?

You need to click upload to ankiweb otherwise it will delete the decks

When you click sync in your Anki, the option will show up

Can you confirm you did the following

  1. Subscribed to the deck you wanted
  2. Downloaded the ankihub addon and signed in
  3. Clicked sync next to the browse button in anki?

This worked! I didn’t have the AnkiHub add-on downloaded.

For some reason months ago when I subscribed to the AnKing Overhaul for Step 1 & 2 I don’t recall having to do this.

Thanks for all the help!
