New Subdecks deleted on sync

Hello AnkiHub peeps,

I’ve been experiencing an issue with AnkiHub that has become increasingly frustrating. I’m attempting to create new subdecks for different units of study, but I’ve noticed that every time I sync with the AnkiHub server, these new subdecks disappear immediately. It’s as if they’re being deleted right after the sync process, and I’m at a loss to understand why this is happening.
Here’s the sequence of events:

  1. I create a new subdeck under a main deck without any issue. It appears in the deck list, and I can add cards to it as usual.
  2. I then attempt to sync my AnkiHub to ensure the subdeck is saved and accessible across all my devices.
  3. Post-sync, the new subdeck I just created is no longer in my deck list. It’s completely vanished, along with any cards I’ve added to it.
It’s important to note that this issue only seems to affect new subdecks. Existing decks or subdecks are not affected by this problem, and neither are individual cards within the existing decks or subdecks.
Has anyone else encountered this problem? Or does anyone have an idea what might be causing this? Any help would be greatly appreciated as this issue is severely impacting my study organization process.
    Thank you!

Hello!

Has this happened before or is this the first time you are experiencing this issue?

Were you able to create subdecks and keep them under the AnKing deck after sync with no issues before?

Take a look at this post, it contains a solution for the problem: Synching overrides my decks - #5 by jakub.f.

I’ve noticed this problem twice before. It looks like this is a known issue, because Jacob linked another thread with another problem and the temporary solution!
