The optional tags I am subscribed to keep disappearing. It says they are there, but only about 1/10th of them are. There are 22,000 tagged cards and 350 show up. I unsubscribed from AnKing and the optional tag and resubscribed, re-downloaded the deck and cards, sync (download from AnkiWeb), and it temporarily fixes the issue. But then the next time it syncs, it says there is again a discrepancy, I click download from AnkiWeb and the initial issue returns. I do not have Anki downloaded on any other devices.

I believe this may be contributing to the issue.
Since the issue returns each time you click download, have you tried clicking ‘upload’ instead?
