Pictures not uploading for others

I am making anki decks but when someone subscribes to my decks they cannot see the pictures.

I also cannot see the pictures on my mobile device.

These are not new cards, therefore I don’t think it is a matter of not having enough time to download.

Hello,

Let’s tackle one at a time, just to make things simpler. So, I subscribed to your deck to test it out on desktop and I don’t see any images missing on my end. That gives us a few clues

Let’s do the obvious stuff first:

  • Do you know what version of Anki you’re running on desktop?
  • Do you know how much storage you have available on your mobile device?
  • Are you certain that you’ve left Ankimobile open long enough to fully sync (it does not sync in the background if the screen is closed).
  • Can you show me an image on mobile that is not displaying the images correctly, and ideally show me that same image from your desktop, just to make sure I’m on the same page?

For each person and on ankimobile they are different images.

Version on desktop - 24.11
Storage is not an issue.

From your desktop Anki give this a try: Resetting Local Changes

Let me know how/if that does the trick and we’ll go from there

It is just certain images, but they are all screenshots. They work on the deck creater’s computer but just not the subscribing computer or mobile!

What did it do, if anything?

Just to be clear, if we can let’s focus on your computer first. I’d like to get that squared away before we extrapolate out to other people’s collections who aren’t directly in the chat just yet.

For your desktop computer: the images are displaying or are not displaying appropriately?
