Question about adding new cards + tags to AnKing and updates

Hi everyone,

I’m new to AnKing and a bit confused after reading a lot of posts on Reddit. I want to add some of my own cards to the AnKing deck, and I’m using my own custom tags (I usually place them inside the Step 1 tags side).

My question is:

• If I add new cards with my own tags, will those cards disappear or be affected when I update the AnKing deck through AnkiHub?

• Is there a best practice for adding personal cards and tags so they don’t get overwritten or lost during updates?
