I applied for a scholarship that got approved and I received an email saying the same. My account membership also states that my current plan is core, yet the decks are locked.

Scholarships hinge on two separate processes, FWIW. First, there is granting your membership (the Core membership). Separate from this, though, since you’re applying for a scholarship is the actual review and approval of the scholarship application itself, which is a separate process.
In most cases, review and approval of the scholarship application can take a couple to a few days. Until that goes through, you’ll continue to get a pop-up informing you that your membership is not yet fully active. This will resolve itself once the scholarship is approved, and you should get a separate notification via email once this has gone through.
