You can also find answers to common questions in our FAQ and Docs.
It looks like you’ve created a topic titled “Removing Duplicate cards & notes”, but the post only contains the boilerplate description of the Support category and doesn’t yet describe your actual issue.
To help you resolve duplicate cards/notes with AnkiHub, could you please provide:
What exactly is duplicated?
Are the duplicates:
Only in your local Anki collection, or
Also showing as duplicates in the AnkiHub deck (e.g., same note appears twice in the subscribed deck)?
How the duplicates appeared
Did you:
Subscribe to an AnkiHub deck twice?
Import the same .apkg multiple times?
Merge a personal deck with an AnkiHub deck?
What you want to keep
For each duplicate, do you want to:
Keep the AnkiHub version and delete your local one?
Keep your edited/personal version and get rid of the AnkiHub-linked one?
Merge changes somehow?
Screenshots if possible
A screenshot of:
The note browser with a search that shows duplicates (e.g., same “Front” text twice).
The note type and fields (top of the Browser and the Fields list).
Once you share that, I can give you step‑by‑step instructions tailored to your situation (including safe ways to delete or de‑duplicate without breaking your AnkiHub subscription).
In the meantime, some general guidelines:
If duplicates are only local and only one copy is linked to AnkiHub:
You can usually delete the unlinked duplicates in the Anki Browser without affecting AnkiHub.
If both copies are AnkiHub-linked:
Explain how that happened and show an example; the de-duplication approach is more delicate and I’ll walk you through a safer method.
Reply with those details and I’ll help you sort it out.
