Hello
When I unsuspend cards from the sketchy micro pepper deck, they appear as blank upon review. The back information will show up when the card is flipped, but the question will still be invisible. Is anyone else having this problem? How can I fix this?

Hello,
I would be happy to help.
I can’t say I’ve heard from anyone else sharing the same issue, though there are lots of decks on AnkiHub and I’m not always familiar with each one. But, let’s see what we can do to hopefully get you squared away:
Can you share a bit more detail about the specific difficulties you’re running into?
The more context you can share the easier it may be to be of help. Screenshots are ideal, if you can, just so I can see what you’re seeing
Thank you for being willing to help. I have uploaded a few screenshots of what I am experiencing. The blank ones are from the pepper deck, but not every card is affected. The affected cards appeared blank and showed only the corresponding image when flipped. This is happening on both my laptop and phone. I can sen a video that more clearly shows the issue via email, if that would be helpful! Thank you again
Gotcha, thanks for that additional context that’s very helpful.
I see that both images you shared appear to be from a mobile device, but just to confirm: you mentioned that the same exact thing is happening on desktop as well?
It could be a few things, but let’s try the likeliest solution first and see if it makes a dent in the issue: Resetting Local Changes
If that does the trick, great. And if not, we’ll keep digging and hopefully get you squared away.
Hello,
Yes. both screenshots were from mobile, but the same thing is happening on desktop. I just followed to instructions to reset local changes, and the problem is unfortunately persisting.
Sorry for the delay, I had reached out to one of our developers to see if maybe there were any kinks in the system that might be affecting what you’re seeing
From what I can gather, it appears that at least some of the media was not provided, or uploaded appropriately, by the deck author and this has caused issues either with the media uploading and/or downloading to, or from, AnkiHub. From digging into it a bit further, a good number of other folks seem to have had the same experience
The shortest, and best, option to fix the issue would be to reach out to the deck author and have them properly upload the media and/or provide a media folder to resolve the issue. Since it’s a deck uploaded by a private individual, rather than the AnkiHub team, the deck’s owner would have to be the one to re-upload or modify the media, unfortunately. There isn’t a lot that I can do to influence their collection, I’m sorry to say
I have chatted a bit with one of our developers and my understanding is that he’s going to look into it a bit later just to make sure there aren’t any additional snags on our end that might be contributing to the issue. In the meantime, there is also this version of the Pepper deck available on AnkiHub which appears to be a bit more popular and might better serve your needs in the meantime: Sign In
Please let me know if that answers your question, and if there’s anything else I can help with.
Thank you! I will try out the other deck you mentioned. The first solution seems like a lot of effort! Thanks for helping and explaining your reasoning.
