Hi,
Not sure what happened but my spacebar no longer works to flip or hit good on a card. The enter sign works to flip the card and the number 3 works for good. This did not happen before I joined ankihub. I have already checked to make sure there is a checkmark next to preferences → Review. This box is checked.

Hello,
It’s unlikely to be related to Ankihub, though it is possible that it’s being caused by interference from an add-on.
The first thing we’ll want to check is which version of Anki you’re running. This can be checked here:
Let me know what version number you find there.
The next thing to check is to close Anki and restart it while holding down the shift key. This will start Anki in ‘safe mode’ which automatically disables all add-ons.
If the problem resolves, we know that it’s an add-on. If the problem persists, we know that it’s something else.
Let me know where you land and we’ll go from there.
Hi Brian,
I restarted anki with the shiftkey and it is still not working. I even deleted the app and re-downloaded it.
This is the version I am running:
Version 24.11 (87ccd24e)
Python 3.9.18 Qt 6.6.2 PyQt 6.6.1
If you restarted Anki in safe mode and it’s still not working, it’s safe to say that it’s outside of the scope of add-ons and/or Ankihub.
At the risk of sounding silly: I presume that your spacebar works normally otherwise?
I believe that I’ve seen similar reports on the official Anki forums before in the past but it’s been some time and I’ve never run into the issue myself, or any other Ankihub users who have, so I don’t have a lot else to go on beyond that.
In a pinch you might try manually disabling all of your add-ons, but that’s really just grasping at straws.
Maybe someone else will weigh in here, but in the meantime I might recommend reaching out on the official Anki forums (https://forums.ankiweb.net/).
