Still struggling to make one-by-one card using Anking

I installed Anking’s note types add on and I am currently trying to make the one-by-one cards he shows in his videos, where he has the “Toggle next” and “Reveal next” options show up, and can do multiple cloze deletions in a single card, allowing him to reveal each sentence one-by-one.

I’m new to Anki, so I’m still just very confused as to how to create a card like this? I’m still unsure which note type to use, and when I copy the same thing as he has done into a “B. Step by Step One” card, all the sentences reveal themselves at the same time.

If someone could explain the basics to me of how to achieve what I’m trying to do, I would be extremely grateful

Creating One-by-One Cards with the AnKing Note Type

It’s actually quite simple!

You just need to use the “AnKingOverhaul (AnKing Step Deck / AnKingMed)” note type, which is basically the default note type for the AnKing deck.

Then, when you want it to be a one-by-one cloze card, you just have to put something in the “One by one” field, which is the last field.
