Is there a way I can create a subdeck from the main Anking-MCAT deck that will update the cards but wont eliminate the subdeck when it updates with ankihub. I have already protected the tag, but not sure how to it for the subdeck.

You can move cards from your AnkiHub deck to any other deck or subdeck you’d like. AnkiHub will continue to update the cards in their new location and will not move them back.
