Suggesting optional tag

Hello,

My friend is trying to suggest tags to an optional tag that we have together, but when he presses “suggest optional tags” nothing happens, even after restarting anki. Only he has the problem, I have no issue suggesting cards.

Any ideas on what the issue could be?

Can you share a bit more info:

  • What is the name of the optional tag in question?
  • What is the name of the deck to which the optional tag belongs?
  • What is the AnkiHub username of the friend who is having trouble with the suggestions?

And can you walk me through what is going on when this person suggests tags?

  • What notes is it for which they are suggesting tags?
  • What version of Anki are they using?
  • What is happening when they try to suggest those tags? I.e. are they seeing an error message or similar?

The more context you can share the easier it may be to be of help. Screenshots are ideal, if you can, just so I can see what you’re seeing
